Weisshouse designer Stan Adamik transforms a West Virginia abode.
The homeowner literally came to us with the blueprints for her home,” says Weisshouse designer Stan Adamik. They got to work choosing pieces that fit with the owner’s “transitional modern” tastes.
Adamik had great instincts, as he roved around for interesting handmade rugs and local art. The designer advertised his love for texture, introducing unique fabrics and finishes to every space. Comfortable chairs sided up next to supple sofas. A lounge doubled as a centerpiece in an ethereal room. Oceanic blues were woven throughout.
WHIRL toured the house with the homeowner, the designer, and Weisshouse owner Stacy Weiss to gather all of their design advice. Even if you don’t have the luxury of working with a designer for top-to-bottom home style, incorporate some of these trends and tips into your space for a polished, pulled-together look.
