Small Seeds Development, Inc. cultivated hope at its Annual Signature Event, which celebrated the impact of leaders nurturing the Small Seeds vision in the community. KDKA-TV’s Brenda Waters and Chuck Sanders, owner of Savoy Restaurant and President of Urban Settlement Services, served as co-chairs and the mistress and master of ceremonies. Mel Blount, Doris Carson Williams, Malik Bankston, Bill Strickland, Elbert Hatley, and Highmark were the award recipients of the night and were honored in front of 145 guests. “Small Seeds recognizes people who have made a commitment for a long time and continue to do so today,” says Andrew Cheeseboro, Chief Executive Officer of Small Seeds Development. “To me, that was a big thing.”
