Christina's Voice

Okay, I think I might be a little too obsessed with The Voice. I have always enjoyed the show, but ever since I caught up with hometown girl Christina Aguilera for the April issue of WHIRL—I’m totally hooked!

Aguilera is just about as genuine as a person can get, on and off of camera. Her feisty personality shows on The Voice through her banter with fellow coaches Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton. When I asked Aguilera about her relationship with her co-stars, she said, “It is such a boys’ club, but I do think I hold my own.”

The artist holds her own on the show and in life, as she’s constantly defending her physical appearance against public scrutiny. We’re proud to have such a strong, and not to mention talented, woman representing Pittsburgh!

Jenna Morasca: Four-Time Cover Girl!

Ben_Headshot

I had a great time getting to know Jenna Morasca when we had coffee at La Bella Bean in Bridgeville, and I know you will too when you check out the story I wrote for our February cover story. (P.S. This was my first ever cover story!) I hope you’ll be inspired as I was to hear about what she and her boyfriend, Ethan Zohn, are doing for others despite having to deal with their own health situations.

We’ve worked with Jenna for three previous cover stories, and photographing her is always such fun. This time around was no exception — and we had the opportunity to include Ethan and style them both with clothing from e.b. Pepper, Charles Spiegel for Men, and Roberta Weissburg Leathers. Valarie Panei worked with us for makeup and Geno Como of Geno Como Salon styled hair. We love how the photos turned out, and we hope you do too!
