

Leslie Listwak and Andrew Carey — After a spectacular rehearsal dinner at Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, this couple wed at St. Paul’s Cathedral and celebrated at Carnegie Music Hall, gorgeously bedecked with blooms by Bill Chisnell of designspace.
Daisuke Takeuchi and Kumiko Tsuji — These Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre principal dancers were married in Sapporo City, Hokkaido, Japan. The bride stole the show in her hand-made gown.
Robbie Hofmann and Katie Korbich — These high school sweethearts laid out lavish linens by All Occasions Party Rental. Hofmann works for the Pittsburgh Penguins, an aspect sweetly represented by a chocolate-y groom’s cake.
Patrick Koch and Kellymay Fuller — The bride glowed in a Eugenia Couture dress from Anne Gregory for the Bride, and the groom embraced tradition in an “Irish National” tartan kilt. The Common Plea catered their celebration at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum.

Nicole Lange and Roberto Fratangelo — For the couple’s ceremony at St. Raphael Church in Morningside and their reception at the Pittsburgh Marriott North, the bride sparkled in a strapless, embroidered Alfred Angelo gown.
Meghan Herrod and Gregory Adams — Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens played host to this couple’s ceremony, and Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium’s Water’s Edge Exhibit was the site of their wild reception, with the bride in a snow white Alfred Angelo satin gown, which popped with cherry red satin accents.
Marla Nance & Donald Phillibert — They first met in a Starbucks in February 2005 and carried a coffee theme through their big day. After the ceremony and a cute coffee shop shoot with Tony and Cyndi Araujo at the Craig Street and Forbes Avenue Starbucks, they met with guests at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association to cut a three-tiered cappuccino-flavored cake.
Caroline Cappelli and Scott Crimone — To primp for the big day, Caroline had her hair done at La Pomponnée. A gorgeous reception, planned by the bride and her mom, Patty, who are both Howard Hanna Real Estate agents, took place at the Pittsburgh Golf Club, where Entertainment Unlimited’s Airborne with Jeff Jimerson provided the music.
Chris Harris and Gretchen Pohaski —
For their Las Vegas nuptials, the couple flew in Gretchen’s Uniontown-based family from Pittsburgh International Airport. During their pre-wedding weekend festivities, the bride wore a Black Halo dress from Shadyside boutique e.b. Pepper and the groom sported an ensemble from the Squirrel Hill store Charles Spiegel
for Men.
Sarah Linn and Kevin Eddy — Before their reception at the Omni William Penn Hotel, the couple stopped for a flower-filled photography session at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. In a twist on traditional, the bride wore a short, modern dress by Oscar de la Renta.
Maria Caruso and Salvatore Migliano — After their ceremony at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland, the bride, founder and artistic director of Bodiography Contemporary Ballet, and her groom, executive director of YMCA Y-Zone, cut a gorgeous cake by Fenoglietto’s Ultimate Cakes, modeled after Connie’s wedding cake in The Godfather.
Dawn King and George Karavas — Following their ceremony at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, the party started at Southpointe Golf Club with a performance by the Grecian Odyssey Dancers. Guests took home sweet chocolate favors from Sarris Candies.
Jacob DiCesare and Holly lattanzi —
CityScape set the tone with its rocking tunes for this over-the-top reception at the Omni William Penn Hotel. The newlyweds celebrated in style with 320 guests, who sipped the couple’s signature drink, a cosmopolitan dubbed the DiCesare-tini.
Angela Zagari and Michael Platt — Their Italian-themed reception at Bella Sera by Greco’s in Canonsburg treated guests to penne with vodka sauce, mini cannolis and gelato, and focaccia pizzas for late-night snacking, cooked up by Greco’s Gourmet Catering.
Corey Lowry And Erica Farber — As an undergraduate student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Erica, a real estate agent for Prudential Preferred Realty, met her match in fellow colleague and friend, Corey. The couple celebrated their nuptials with a magical, winter wonderland-themed party.

Wedding planner Katherine Shaw of Trends to Traditions put together an “Asian-Jewish Fusion” themed celebration, which went swimmingly at The Pittsburgh Zoo’s PPG Aquarium, with dinner and hors d’oeuvres cooked up by the Zoo’s A Taste of the Wild Catering.
Jaquelene Selznick and Joseph Fraas — Following their North Captiva Island, Fla., wedding, the newlyweds returned to Pittsburgh to have a hometown reception at the North Shore Café at The Cardello Building.
Peter Juram and Sarah Robison — The Carnegie Music Hall was the place for this Green Tree couple’s reception, catered by Parkhurst Dining Services. The bride looked perfect with her pretty updo from Posh Beauty Salon.
Dee Betant and Bill Casteel — The bride is a party planner and whipped their day together in six weeks. Andy Schick of ADS Lighting cast a rosy glow with red up-lighting at their Rivers Club Reception.
Melissa Stearns and David Pravlik — Melissa Stearns of the Pittsburgh Business Times and her groom went on a first date to Rock Bottom Brewery at the Waterfront, which led to a joyous, cornflower-blue hued wedding blooming with roses and hydrangeas at the Rivers Club.
Walker Morrow and Carmen Bills — At their sparkling reception, preceded by a Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel rehearsal dinner, guests sipped White Wedding Cake Martinis and Makers Ginger and the John Parker Band kept them dancing late into the night.
Sarah Vandervort & Shawn Hunter — Following a rehearsal dinner at Palomino Restaurant, the pair met at the altar of Smithfield Unitarian Church. The reception and ceremony, planned by Trends to Traditions, was styled after Gustav Klimt’s painting “The Kiss.”
Ashley Snider and Dan Loxterman — Snider is an interior designer for PerLora, and on the day of the wedding, store owners Perry and Lora Sigesmund, closed shop early. Snider’s co-worker, Craig McDonald, designed the fresh flowers for the event, held at J. Verno Studios, and Nami Ogawa designed the bride’s dress and groom’s tie.
Natalie Grenadier and Brandon Lichtman — Following their rehearsal dinner at Café Euro Party Center and ceremony at Beth El Congregation, the newlyweds held a summer-themed reception awash in pastel lilac and green, all captured in vibrant color by Araujo Photography.
