Artist Burton Morris is living a beautiful life. The Pittsburgh native now calls Southern California home, where he resides with his Pittsburgh born wife, Sara, and their three beautiful daughters. While the couple raises their family, they are also an epic duo professionally as Sara manages the pop artist’s illustrious career. Burton has been an artist his entire life, getting his start at a young age.

In 1993, at the age of 29, Burton was selected to create the artwork for “Absolut Pennsylvania”, a nationally acclaimed advertising campaign which was part of theAbsolut Vodka Statehood series of Artists. Pop legend and Pittsburgh native Andy Warhol started this famous campaign. To be associated with Warhol and many other pop artists of that time was a huge honor. Burton’s artwork was showcased to millions of people all over the United States, and was featured in Time Magazine

and USA Today.

One year later, the TV Show “Friends” featured his art in the third episode when David Schwimmer (Ross) wore a T-shirt he had designed with his art on it. Burton explains, “I had no idea that the show would become such a huge success. My art

caught the attention of the show’s creator, Kevin Bright, who asked it I could lend them more artwork for other episodes. As the show gained popularity, so did my artwork. Over the next nine seasons, my paintings were showcased in Central Perk

Coffee Shop in more than 75 episodes throughout the show’s run. As the show became part of the popular culture, so did my artwork.”
