Alayna and Eric were high school sweethearts, even though they attended different schools. He went to Mars Area High School and she went to Pine Richland. They met through mutual friends and hit it off. They also attended different colleges but made the long distance relationship work. When Eric graduated dental school, they moved to Columbus, Ohio where he began his practice and she took on a job as a Dietician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. They chose to get married in Pittsburgh as both of their families still reside in town and it’s where their love story began. Their ceremony was at Heinz Chapel, Eric’s alma mater of University of Pittsburgh, and their reception was held downtown at the Embassy Suites.
